The Families First Resource Center (F.F.R.C.) is your one stop source of knowledge and information when it comes to serving children and families. This is a community base program. The services provided by our F.F.R.C. are free of charge. You may come by anytime to sign-up for services and tour the center.

Computer Training

Calendars for each month will be available listing the time, date and title of each computer class.

Tutoring

Tutoring in the areas of Math and Reading/English will be provided for children grades 1st through 12th. Our tutoring hours are from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Special sessions may be arranged.

Teen Pregnancy Prevention

Workshops, Seminars, Teen Summits and brochures (located at the F.F.R.C.) are some of the ways to learn about the prevention of teen pregnancy.

CAREER PLANNING

Student will learn job readiness skills such as:

dressing for success

career planning

resume writing

interviewing skills

Individual & Family Counseling

Workshops and trainings will be provided on health/nutrition and budgeting. Professional counselors will be available to meet other needs as well.

Parenting Training

Workshops and trainings will be conducted on attention deficit disorder, positive behavior modification techniques, sibling rivalry, etc,. Individuals can also pick-up informative brochures located at the F.F.R.C.
